So that doesn't mean you're not going to pay the mint fee to get the NFT, you're required to pay the price set by the team to get the NFT. Normally after getting a whitelist spot, the team from the project you got whitelist spot would contact you and ask you to submit your wallet address, and your wallet address will be added to the list of people that can mint the NFT.
