# When and Where to sell your NFTs?

When it comes to getting your NFT, the best part is getting your profits! Let's talk about when to sell your NFT, and where to sell it.

**When to sell:** Usually, after a drop, NFTs have a pump, a dip, or a dump. It's usually hard to predict prices, so it's good to look at the various amount of factors. These factors should include roadmap, team, longevity, uniqueness, and more. Most times, I can easily tell you what to mint, but at the end of the day, it's very hard to tell you when to sell. This is a choice that you have to make. Do you want to secure your profits early and keep building small profits? Do you want to hold longer and wait until prices go up like crazy? Is it possible for them to go up like crazy? It's hard to tell, and naturally, the more you trade NFTs, the more you will feel and learn when it's the perfect time to take your profits!

**Where to sell:** After figuring out when you want to sell, it's important to know where to sell your NFT. The first step is by getting your wallet set-up with the biggest NFT marketplace, which is Opensea or MagicEden whatever the case may be. When listing for the first time on Opensea, they will usually charge you $100-$300+ (it's a one-time fee to initialize your wallet to activate trading), it usually depends on whatever the Ethereum Network fee is. Once your wallet is setup, you can sell all of your NFTs on Opensea! If you minted the NFT, you will usually have to pay a one time fee to list any item in that collection. You pay this fee once, for the entire collection. Once you pay this one time fee, you can list as many NFTs as you want in that collection.

While for Solana NFTs, you don't pay any fee to list your NFT.
