# When and Where to buy NFTs?

Knowing both when, and where, to buy NFTs are crucial to your success. We will be getting into both of these, and teaching you how to efficiently become an NFT investor.

**When to buy:** If you're looking to quick flip NFTs, we highly recommend you should grind for whitelist spots that allows you buy the NFT at the particular launch price set by the creators of the NFT. You can as well buy NFTs on the marketplace such as Opensea or MagicEden, but these are riskier, as the NFTs you will be buying are already launched and you could lose money when the price drops. It's better to do proper research before buying into any NFT project. Whatever you're investing in NFTs, you should be willing to lose that money, if you're not willing to lose that money, you shouldn't buy. It is very important to assess the risk of the NFT project before jumping in.

**Where to buy:** Normally, where to buy NFTs depends on whether it's a whitelist mint or you're just buying on the marketplace. \
For a whitelist mint, the creators of the NFT project will give out the mint link to their website on their discord server, while for the marketplace, you just go on the various NFT marketplace like Opensea or MagicEden to buy the NFT. \
