# Purchasing Ethereum / Solana

Your wallet is now created and set up properly, let's buy some crypto. When it comes to NFTs, you can purchase all types of different NFTs across different blockchains. 

***Note:*** NFTs can be built on various blockchains like Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, Cardano and Binance Smart Chain. In this guidebook we focused on only Ethereum and Solana, because they are the most popular blockchain used for creating NFTs and that's where most money flow through. 

To purchase Ethereum or Solana, and get it in your wallet, there are a couple of ways to go.

**Buying on an exchange:** One way to purchase Ethereum or Solana is by using a centralized exchange such as Binance or Coinbase. Once you have an account on these exchanges, simply use your naira to buy usdt via p2p on Binance, buy the ethereum or solana you need, and transfer it to your Metamask or phantom wallet.

**Purchase Ethereum on Metamask:** You can also purchase the Ethereum on Metamask extension, on your phone, or PC, or just go to opensea.io, and purchase there! This way, you can use your card to purchase crypto, and essentially receive it much quicker.

**Purchasing from a friend:** Another way to get Ethereum or Solana is by simply asking a friend to buy some off of them! This should only be done if this is a trusted friend, and this is one of the easiest and quickest ways to purchase Crypto.
